The kicker isn’t the only one with an important job to do on field goals. The snapper and the holder both have to do their jobs correctly, too, in order to give the kicker a chance.

On Sunday, LSU punter/holder Josh Growden did everything he could to give his kicker a chance on a field goal attempt during practice.

As you can see in the video below, he grabbed the high snap and then fell backwards as the kicker put the ball through the uprights:

Growden made sure to tag the Mortell Award’s Twitter account, lobbying for the award given annually to the best holder in college football.

Fortunately for Growden, he was named to the Mortell Award’s preseason watch list last month:
