WATCH: Pete Jenkins gives Ric Flair-style 'woo!' when asked about LSU DL Rashard Lawrence
LSU DL Rashard Lawrence has the potential to turn into a star for the Tigers’ defense, showing flashes of brilliance in 2017.
The rising junior has a huge fan in the coaching room, as legendary LSU DL coach Pete Jenkins can’t say enough about him.
As you can see in the video below, Jenkins lets out a couple of Ric Flair “woo!” impressions when asked about Lawrence:
As soon as you mention the words "Rashard Lawrence" to former LSU defensive line coach, Pete Jenkins, he can't help but give you the Ric Flair "Wooooo!"

“I’ve been coaching 52 years,” Jenkins says after his Ric Flair impression. “He might be the toughest football player I’ve ever coached.”
Lawrence recorded 32 tackles (3.5 for a loss) and 1.5 sacks in 11 games last season. He has room for improvement, but it’s clear Jenkins thinks he can become a difference maker.
