Mississippi State does it again, destroys North Carolina 12-2 in College World Series
Mississippi State is now one win away from the College World Series Championship Series (best 2 out of 3) following an impressive 12-2 win over North Carolina on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs took control of the game early with a second-inning grand slam and never looked back. An eight-run eight-inning finished off North Carolina in this one. Mississippi State’s Jordan Westburg hit the grand slam and had a total of seven RBIs.
The Mississippi State pitching staff held UNC to just two runs on seven hits.
