At the conclusion of Dallas’ 27-23 victory over Washington on Sunday, two former Mississippi State teammates came together for a special moment:

Dallas QB Dak Prescott and Washington OLB/DE Preston Smith were teammates in Starkville under Dan Mullen. Prescott got drafted this past year by the Cowboys, and Smith was drafted by the Redskins in 2015.

In today’s action, Prescott finished 22-of-30 for 292 yards, and one rushing TD. Smith accrued two tackles and 0.5 sacks.

While Smith did bring down his former quarterback on one occasion, Prescott had the last laugh with the final score.
