Florida safety commits to Mizzou

Vanguard (Ocala, Fla.) safety Tyree Gillespie might live in UF’s backyard, but he’ll be going to a different SEC East school as he has committed to Mizzou.

Gillespie told MU reporters Saturday night that he had committed to the Tigers, and the team’s recruiting Twitter account announced the commitment Sunday.

Gillespie, who measures 5-foot-11, 202 pounds, makes 21 pledges for Mizzou’s 2017 class. The two-star safety also had offers from Iowa State and Louisville. His highlights can be viewed below:
