Columbia is the SEC’s northernmost city, and it’s definitely acting like it this week.

Temperatures in the midwest have been cold all week, and there has even been some intermittent snow — a bit unusual this early in November.

As you can see below, a snowstorm passed through Columbia on Monday, blanketing Faurot Field in a fresh layer of snow:

The Tigers played one of their coldest games since 2000 on Saturday when they beat Vanderbilt, but they’ll probably be glad to head a bit further south and east to Knoxville this weekend.

There’s one more home game scheduled for the regular season (Week 13 vs. Arkansas), so the players will certainly be hoping it warms up again by then.
