Report: Trio of Missouri players leaving football program
Four different position groups are being hit by a defection this offseason in Columbia, as the Missouri football program has reportedly suffered three transfers and a retirement.
According to Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com, linebacker T.J. Warren, receiver Raymond Wingo and defensive back Jerod Alton are all leaving the football team via transfer. Offensive lineman Pompey Coleman is also expected to retire from the sport.
Warren was the only player of the four listed on the two-deep for the Tigers in the 2017 season finale against Arkansas.
DeArmond broke the news Tuesday morning:
#Mizzou football roster updates: T.J. Warren, Raymond Wingo and Jerod Alton are transferring. OL Pompey Coleman is retiring from football for medical reasons as a result of a broken leg suffered as a senior in high school.
