In a mere two weeks, LSU has gone from undefeated to 4-point underdogs at Ole Miss.

Although its hopes are rather slim, the Rebels still have a shot to tie for the SEC West title and earn a trip to Atlanta via a tiebreaker. Ole Miss must beat LSU and Mississippi State and get help from Auburn with a victory over Alabama.

Even if this matchup has no bearing on the SEC West crown, it will have major implications on each team’s bowl assignment.

Here are five players to watch Saturday when the Tigers take on the Rebels:

1. LSU RB Leonard Fournette – The Tigers’ sophomore star is one of the top players to watch every week around college football. Fournette has struggled the last two weeks. After rushing for at least 150 yards in the first seven games, he failed to eclipse the 100-yard mark against tough defensive fronts from Alabama and Arkansas. Fournette needs to get untracked to get the LSU offense rolling.

2. Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell – There isn’t a more important skill player on offense for the Rebels. Treadwell already has a career-high 1,002 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this year. With 68 catches, he is only five away from another career-high. Treadwell has had five straight games of at least 100 receiving yards and one touchdown.

3. Ole Miss DE Robert Nkemdiche – Ranked the No. 1 defensive lineman in college football by many scouts, Nkemdiche is frequently compared to Ndamukong Suh. Nkemdiche is projected to be a top five pick in the 2016 NFL draft. Though he only has 22 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks this season, he is often double or triple teamed. If Nkemdiche can shrug off multiple blockers, his defensive teammates will have an easier time stopping Fournette.

4. LSU DE Lewis Neal – The LSU defense isn’t as stout as in recent years, but Neal has been spectacular this season. The Ole Miss offense struggles when the opposition gets pressure on the quarterback, and Neal has created negative plays for opponents. Neal leads the team with 6 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss.

5. Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly – The junior-college transfer has been inconsistent at times, but overall, he is putting together a great season. Kelly is coming off back-to-back, 300-yard games with five TDs and two interceptions. Through 10 games, he has 3,224 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and 12 picks.
