Though he’s only been in the NFL since 2014, former Ole Miss OL Pierce Burton has already moved around a lot in his brief professional career.

Signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2014 NFL Draft, Burton has also had stops with the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts, serving primarily as a practice squad player.

According to 247Sports, Burton has found a new NFL home, as the Detroit Lions reportedly signed him on Thursday evening.

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound lineman has the physical size needed to make it in the NFL, but if he doesn’t stick around with the Lions, he could find himself out of the league.

Burton played for the Rebels for two years, anchoring the line during the 2012 and 2013 seasons alongside other talented linemen.
