The Ole Miss Rebels announced they will have a home-and-home series with the Cal Bears in 2017 and 2019.
The Rebels, who have never played a Pac-12 school, will travel to Cal in 2017, and the Bears will make a return trip to Oxford in 2019.
The SEC needs more games against Pac-12 foes, and this is a big step in that direction. The two conferences are largely figured to fight for supremacy in the coming years, and this series will be a measuring stick.
Cal also moved its home-and-home series against Auburn back a year to 2020 and 2021.
