Ole Miss lost more than just its season opener against Florida State on Monday night.

Junior defensive back Ken Webster will miss the rest of the season, he said in a post on social media, after suffering a left knee injury early in the No. 11 Rebels’ 45-34 loss to the No. 4 Seminoles.

Webster landed awkwardly on his left leg while breaking up a deep pass early in the first quarter. The junior — who had 41 tackles, three tackles for loss, 11 pass breakups and an interception last season — was carted off the field following the play.
