Former Ole Miss RB Brandon Bolden’s six-year NFL career won’t exactly wow anyone, but he’s clearly made an impact in New England.

He’s spent all six years with the Patriots, and now he’ll spend a seventh year in Foxboro in 2018.

According to NFL analyst Field Yates, the Patriots are signing Bolden to a one-year extension worth $880,000 for the 2018 season:

Bolden only carried the ball 13 times for 67 yards during the regular season last year, scoring his only touchdown in the playoffs against the Tennessee Titans. However, he has much more value as a special-teams contributor, playing in most of the Pats’ special-teams situations.

Bolden already has two Super Bowl rings, and he’ll try to add another during his 2018 season with New England.
