Evan Boehm will be sticking in Indianapolis for the time being.

Despite only joining the Colts after being signed off the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad after the start of the season, the three-year NFL veteran still managed to make an impact with Indianapolis on the field in 2018. Last season, Boehm made 11 appearances and started four games as a Colt.

That impression has also proven to be enough to land Boehm a new contract to stay with the Colts.

On Monday, the club announced that Boehm has signed his tender to return in 2019. During his three years in the NFL, Boehm has made 13 starts and 42 appearances for Arizona, Los Angeles and Indianapolis. Boehm began his professional career with the Cardinals, a team that used a fourth-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Before getting to the NFL, Boehm was a four-year starter at Missouri, where he started 52 consecutive games for the Tigers — which is a school record.
