It’s Rivalry Week, so the action is bound to be good. There are lots of great games to choose from, though it’s a shame that three of the best are all being played in the same time slot Saturday night. Oh, well. That’s what remotes and multiple TVs are for, right?

Here are this weekend’s five best:

  1. Ole Miss at Mississippi State (7:15 p.m. ET, ESPN2): I’m giving this one top billing because of the Arkansas barometer. What, you say? Look at the two games the Razorbacks played between Ole Miss and Mississippi State this year. They might have been the two most exciting games in the conference, a 53-52 overtime thriller won by Arkansas in Oxford and a 51-50 State win last week when they blocked the Arkansas game-winning field goal attempt on the final play of the game. Connecting the dots, this one should be a thriller. Especially if Auburn shocks the world earlier.
  2. Alabama at Auburn (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS): The Iron Bowl No. 2? Blasphemy, yes, but there’s a big fear this game could turn into a rout this year. No one in America this side of Sunday is playing any better than the Crimson Tide right now and Auburn, well, they’ve been a major disappointment this year. Opening the season ranked No. 6, this was supposed to be their coronation game. But at 6-5 they’re just hoping to have a winning season now. This could be a blowout.
  3. Florida State at Florida (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN): It’s been an amazing start to the Jim McElwain era at Florida. The Gators are a shocking 10-1, have won the SEC East and have restored the roar in Gainesville. In comes arch-rival Florida State, with nothing left to play for this season, other than whipping up on the Gators. FSU has won two straight in Gainesville and the Seminoles have never hit the trifecta at UF. Is Saturday night the night?
  4. Texas A&M at LSU (7:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network): Does the Les Miles era coming crashing down after Saturday night’s final regular season game? LSU has been flat-out awful these last three weeks in losing to Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss, tumbling swiftly from No. 2 in the country to unranked in three quick weeks. It’s going to be interesting to see if Leonard Fournette can finally have another big night. Bottled up all month, the Aggies run defense isn’t all that great. Best thing to watch? How quickly LSU fans turn on the Tigers if they get off to a slow start.
  5. Georgia at Georgia Tech (noon ET, ESPN2): Mark Richt has been under fire since the midseason collapse with losses to Alabama, Tennessee and Florida, but they’ve righted the ship a bit against lesser foes and have a chance to finish 9-3 with a win in Atlanta against Tech. It’s going to be interesting to see if the Bulldogs get anything out of the QB position, a weakness all season.

Other games on the docket Saturday include: Clemson at South Carolina (noon ET, ESPN), Vanderbilt at Tennessee (4 p.m. ET, SEC Network) and Louisville at Kentucky (noon ET, SEC Network).

Missouri and Arkansas play Friday (2:30 p.m. ET, CBS).
