Alabama joins running for nation’s No. 4 cornerback, offers on Christmas Eve
One of the top cornerbacks in the country got something to think about just hours before Christmas.
Kristian Fulton, the nation’s No. 4 cornerback for the Class of 2016 (according to 247 Sports), got an offer from Alabama. He shared the news via Twitter on Thursday evening.

On Wednesday, Fulton — one of the top two uncommitted cornerbacks in the country — revealed that he’s scheduled four official visits for the month of January, which included up to three SEC teams: either LSU or Miami on Jan. 15 before traveling to Arkansas on Jan. 22, then Florida on Jan. 29.
Now, Alabama becomes the 25th school to offer the 6-foot, 177-pounder. Newly hired defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has been a lead recruiter along with running backs coach Burton Burns.
Fulton, from Metairie, La., has been considered a favorite to sign with LSU for some time, so we’ll see if the Tide can sway his decision.
Fulton has said he will not be an early enrollee and will wait to announce his final decision on National Signing Day (Feb. 3).
