Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd took a shot at the SEC after one of its teams struggled with an opponent it was expected to dominate.

Florida entered Saturday’s game with Florida Atlantic heavily favored. The Gators were 9-1 and ranked eighth in the College Football Playoff poll. They were also the SEC East champions. The Owls were just 2-8. But Florida Atlantic took Florida to overtime, before the host Gators escaped with a 20-14 win.

Cowherd was less than impressed after seeing the Gators’ performance, and expressed his thoughts on Twitter. He called the SEC “overrated” and claimed that some of the conference’s fans were “delusional.” He also criticized the quarterback play in the conference.

Two other SEC teams also struggled with opponents they were expected to easily defeat Saturday. The Citadel upset South Carolina, 23-22. Then a few hours later, Georgia Southern took Georgia to overtime, before the Bulldogs came away with a 23-17 victory.
