Though ESPN analyst David Pollack was in Tuscaloosa for ESPN’s College GameDay when Alabama beat Texas A&M, it apparently didn’t leave much of an impression on him.
When discussing the initial 2016 College Football Playoff rankings, Pollack said the Aggies could give themselves a big boost if they beat Alabama.
“I’m talking about if Texas A&M beats Alabama,” he said when discussing the Aggies being ranked ahead of the Washington Huskies in the initial poll.
When the others on the panel quickly corrected his mistake, Pollack owned up to it and poked some fun at himself.
“Yeah, I’m an idiot,” he said. “That’s my bad.”
Fans let Pollack hear it on social media, too:
David Pollack constantly amazes me how little he knows about college football. How'd he even get this job. pic.twitter.com/hs6xOwHvye

Pollack was in attendance in Tuscaloosa via College Gameday which pays him actual money when they played too. LOL.
