ESPN's SP+ predicts final score of every SEC game in Week 3
ESPN’s SP+ has released score predictions for every Week 3 college football game.
That includes projections for a nearly-full slate of SEC contests this weekend. Here’s a look at SP+’s predicted score for every SEC game in Week 3:
- Alabama 33, Wisconsin 15
- LSU 31, South Carolina 27
- Missouri 39, Boston College 16
- Oklahoma 34, Tulane 18
- Texas A&M 30, Florida 27
- Arkansas 43, UAB 20
- Ole Miss 42, Wake Forest 15
- Texas 48, UTSA 10
- Vanderbilt 35, Georgia State 23
- Georgia 38, Kentucky 16
- Auburn 46, New Mexico 10
- Mississippi State 29, Toledo 21
- Tennessee 52, Kent State 1
There are a total of 13 games this week involving at least 1 SEC program. Three matchups — Georgia vs. Kentucky, Texas A&M-Florida and LSU-South Carolina — feature an SEC vs. SEC showdown. This is the first week of the season that will have multiple games featuring 2 SEC opponents.
An SEC team is favored to win every game this week, per SP+. Alabama, Missouri and Ole Miss are the only programs set to take on teams from another power conference in Week 3.
There’s only 1 top-25 game this week featuring an SEC program: Boston College at Missouri. Despite the high-profile nature of this game, SP+ is currently projecting a blowout in Mizzou’s favor. In Vegas, Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers are consensus 17-point favorites over BC.
Alabama-Wisconsin is another highly-anticipated matchup, but the Crimson Tide are favored by 18 points in that contest despite it being a road game in Big Ten country.

Anybody else going to watch the TN game to see how Kent State will get 1 point?
Kent State is famous for giving us the minds of both Nick Saban and Gary Pinkel (teammates, no less). So if anyone could solve this quandary, they could.

A 1-point safety is theoretically possible, but has only happened three times in college.
You’re not wrong. Has to be one of the least probable plays in sports.
What is that…running back a blocked extra point? I’ve seen that once but I swear it was 2 points.
I looked it up. You block it but somehow get tackled in your own end zone. Yeah that would be worth watching
