Like every conference in college football, the SEC has some really competitive rivalries, but it also has some that are incredibly lopsided.

Entering the 2016 season, here are the 10 longest winning streaks in SEC rivalries throughout history:

1. Florida vs. Kentucky: 29 straight

The longest winning streak in an SEC rivalry is a current one. The Wildcats’ last victory in the series, which the Gators lead 49-17, came in 1986 when Kentucky won 10-3 in Lexington.

2. Tennessee vs. Kentucky: 26 straight

The Volunteers pulled this stretch off from 1985-2010. The Wildcats snapped their skid with a 10-7 home win, but Tennessee has won the last four matchups since to take a 78-24-9 lead in the series.

T3. Alabama vs. Mississippi State: 22 straight

The Crimson Tide controlled this series from 1958-79. The Bulldogs, who finally ended their schneid with a 6-3 win in Jackson, Miss., have lost eight straight to Bama since 2008.

T3. Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt: 22 straight

The Volunteers’ dominant run lasted from 1983 to 2004. A year later, the Commodores won in Knoxville, 28-24, but the Vols have taken the last two matchups to lead the all-time series 75-29-5.

5. Vanderbilt vs. Ole Miss: 19 straight

The Commodores haven’t always been SEC punching bags, and this run over the Rebels — which spanned from 1894-1938 — is proof. After beating the Commodores 14-7 in Memphis in 1939, Ole Miss has taken control of this series, which it leads 50-38-2.

6. Auburn vs. Mississippi State: 16 straight

The Tigers enjoyed this stretch from 1964-79 before the Bulldogs won 24-21 in Jackson a year later. The three meetings from 1975-77, which originally featured a tie and two Mississippi State wins, were later forfeited by the Bulldogs. Thanks to the streak, Auburn leads the series 61-26-2.

7. LSU vs. Mississippi State: 14 straight

The Tigers beat up on the Bulldogs from 2000-13 before Mississippi State recorded a 34-29 victory in Baton Rouge two years ago. The Bayou Bengals lead the all-time series 72-34-3.

T8. LSU vs. Kentucky: 13 straight

The Wildcats, who couldn’t buy a win in this rivalry from 1961-73, won 20-13 at home the following year. The Tigers, who have won the last two meetings, lead the all-time series 40-16-1.

T8. Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss: 13 straight

The Bulldogs completely dominated this rivalry from 1911-25 before winning 7-6 the following year. The Rebels, who have taken the last two Egg Bowls, lead the all-time series 63-43-6.

10. LSU vs. South Carolina: 12 straight

The Tigers didn’t lose to the Gamecocks between the years of 1931 and 1993. South Carolina finally won in Death Valley in 1994, but LSU has the all-time series edge 18-2-1.
