NFL.com has done some fascinating work this offseason with their college football coverage, particularly with the 15 for ’15 series.

One of the latest installments identifies “college football’s most physical players,” and three SEC standouts made the list.

1. West Virginia SS Carl Joseph
2. Ole Miss DB Tony Conner
3. USC OLB Su’a Cravens
4. Tulane LB Nico Marley
5. Wisconsin S Michael Caputo
6. Arizona State LB Antonio Longino
7. Virginia Tech DE Dadi Nicolas
8. Boise State LB Tanner Vallejo
9. Oklahoma LB Eric Striker
10. Florida S Keanu Neal
11. Duke S Jeremy Cash
12. Louisville S Josh Harvey-Clemons
13. Alabama LB Reuben Foster
14. Penn State DT Anthony Zettel
15. Colorado LB Addison Gillam

This is a nice list. But it’s really, really hard to imagine 12 players in college football who hit harder than Foster. He became a practice legend for hitting so hard that he often has knocked himself out. Then there’s this, which is worth watching again:

Also, Antonio Morrison (when healthy) may be the hardest hitter on Florida’s defense, even ahead of Neal.

Other SEC players who merit consideration — it would be too much to name them all — include Auburn’s Cassanova McKinzy, Tennessee’s Derek Barnett, Arkansas’ Rohan Gaines and Vanderbilt’s Nigel Bowden.

Who do you think are the hardest hitters in the SEC?
