The SEC West became the first division in college football history to boast seven bowl-eligible teams and seven seven-win teams in one season, but with great success comes even greater challenges.

The entire division now wears a target on its back, and the loss of some premier NFL-caliber talents, some veteran leadership and a few outbound transfers won’t make repeating last year’s feats any easier. Mix in a few coaching changes and seven of the top 23 recruiting classes in the nation, and the division looks entirely different than it did just a few months earlier.
