South Carolina fans know how fast Deebo Samuel is. Now, he’s showing his speed at the NFL level for the San Francisco 49ers.

Samuel was a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and on Monday night, he appeared in a preseason game for the 49ers, with great results.

As you can see in the video below, Samuel took an end-around pitch and went 45 yards down the sideline, almost making it to the end zone:

The Niners scored a touchdown on the possession, set up by that Samuel run. He reached a top speed of 21 mph on the run, according to analyst Booger McFarland.

Samuel has shown flashes of brilliance this preseason, so it’s likely he’ll have a significant role for the San Francisco offense this fall.
