South Carolina had such a long injury list after the win at Ole Miss that coach Will Muschamp needed a day to digest it.

Given a few days, Muschamp said on his radio show Thursday night that he chose to use the word “hopeful” to describe LB Bryson Allen-Williams, and not “doubtful,” according to The State. It appears the ankle injury could keep him out of Saturday’s game against Florida.

There are several other injuries, including DL Aaron Sterling, who battled a knee injury, and RB Rico Dowdle is less than 100 percent, but fellow RBs Ty’Son Williams and A.J. Turner will play. OLs Dennis Daley and Malik Young will play.

S J.T. Ibe, who has missed a few recent games, could return next week against Chattanooga.
