Former Mississippi State DT commit T.D. Moton, who was released from his letter of intent due to academic reasons, is getting his chance with another SEC school.

According to 247Sports’ Taylor Hamm, the three-star 2015 prospect has finally been cleared to play for Texas A&M after committing to the program last October.

Moton posted this on Twitter earlier this afternoon.

Moton spent the past year looking to improve his ACT scores in order to be eligible. The 6-foot-2, 310-pound Shreveport, La., native was ranked as the No. 28 defensive tackle in the Class of 2015, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Hamm reports that Moton still needs to go through the NCAA Clearinghouse.
