The Daylon Mack sweepstakes is nearing its end and Texas A&M has a 50/50 shot at landing the former five-star defensive tackle commit.
Various reports indicate Mack has informed Charlie Strong and Texas that he will not be signing with the Longhorns when he reveals his decision Wednesday on ESPNU, a tough loss for a class currently ranked in the Top 10 according to 247Sports.

The nation’s 14th-best prospect overall will choose between TCU and Texas A&M with a chance to play early at either program. Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin met with Mack last week as well as members of the Horned Frogs’ staff.
Mack was a longtime Texas A&M pledge who decommitted in December to explore other options. Most expect the 6-foot, 330-pounder to end up in College Station on Wednesday.
The Aggies’ 2015 class is currently ranked 10th in the country in 247Sports’ team composite.
