College Station, home of the Texas A&M Aggies, has been named to Forbes’ top 10 list of best college towns in the nation. TAMU’s campus comes in at No. 5 and is the only member of the SEC included in the rankings.

To determine the best and worst college cities and towns in America, personal finance site WalletHub reviewed 280 cities across 23 metrics, including the quality of higher education, crime rates, the cost of living, the number of students per capita, and the average monthly cost of purchases akin to college students, like a fitness center membership or pizza and burgers.
