After a few scary hours down in Houston, in which her whereabouts were unknown to anyone, Rivals Texas A&M recruiting reporter Courtney Faye Roland thankfully turned up. Even better, she was unharmed and safe.

Houston police had been searching for Roland after she was reported missing following a weekend recruiting event. After her vehicle was discovered, many feared something had happened but it turns out Roland suffered an adverse reaction to her prescribed medication.

She posted this note Monday morning after leaving the hospital over the weekend:

As we’ve seen before, the power of social media can be a dangerous thing. Thankfully, it can also be used as a tool for good as Houston natives did what they could to report Roland’s disappearance and help bring attention to her search.
