The Green Bay Packers have one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers, so putting weapons around him on offense is important.

This offseason, they signed former Texas A&M TE Martellus Bennett, and the move is already paying off.

During Saturday’s preseason game against the Washington Redskins, Rodgers and Bennett hooked up for what Green Bay fans is the first of many touchdowns this season:

With a defender all over him, Bennett displayed the size, strength and athleticism that led to the Packers signing him this offseason.

That was the only catch Bennett had in Green Bay’s 21-17 victory, but he’s sure to get more targets when the season actually starts next month.
