It’s getting to be “crazy season” for recruiting, when much of what you thought you knew about the 2016 signing class turns upside down during the final weeks before signing day.
On Tuesday night, the nation’s top JUCO prospect delivered a gut-punch to the Tennessee faithful that were ready to get him on campus and into the lineup in the fall.
It turns out that four-star DE Jonthan Kongbo, who committed to the Vols in late November, has changed his mind about coming to Knoxville.
He took to Twitter to break the news:

The 6-5, 264-pounder from Arizona Western College visited USC on Monday, and has offers from many of the nation’s top schools, including Alabama and Auburn.
It will be interesting to see how this one plays out during the final weeks of recruiting on the class of 2016.
