Tennessee mega-recruit Kahlil McKenzie, a five-star defensive tackle and the No. 6 overall player of the 2015 class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, took to social media this weekend to tease a few of the Vols’ biggest rivals.
McKenzie, listed at 6-foot-3 and 354 pounds from Concord, Calif., is the prize of Butch Jones’ current class, but not one of the 10 early enrollees. That hasn’t stopped him from directing social media barbs at in-state rival Vanderbilt or cross-division enemy Alabama.
Woke up today and I'm not a Commodore it's gonna be a good day!! #GoVols

There’s a lot of social media misuse, especially by high school prospects not yet coached up on the perils of Twitter or Facebook. But this is old-fashioned smack talk, somewhat clever and all in good fun. McKenzie is onto something, and surely is winning over Vols fans in the meantime.
