Rhoads spent the last seven seasons at Iowa State, leading the Cyclones to a 32-55 record before being removed from his duties.
Prior to being a head coach, Rhoads was the defensive coordinator at Auburn in 2008, which followed a stint in the same role at Pittsburgh from 2000-07.
He is looking to replace former Bulldogs DC Manny Diaz, who recently left Starkville to serve on Mark Richt’s staff at Miami.
