Satellite camps are back in the news after the NCAA’s Board of Directors rescinded a rule passed earlier this month that would have prohibited FBS coaches from holding or working at satellite football camps away from their school.

The SEC’s own ban on satellite camps is set to expire on May 29.

According to a report by FootballScoop, Mississippi State and Ole Miss are going to hold an Egg Bowl satellite camp on Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s campus June 3rd.

How about two rivals linking up to hold a camp together? Who says we all can’t get along?

Can you imagine Hugh Freeze and Dan Mullen chatting it up at this camp? Better yet, coaches should be mic’d up, and this camp should be featured on the SEC Network.
