Former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger has been waived by the Tennessee Titans after two seasons and will likely find out his next destination as early as Tuesday, according to NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport.

Mettenberger, who started under center for LSU from 2012-13 and was taken by Tennessee in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, played in 14 games for the Titans over the last two years. He completed just over 60 percent of his pass attempts for 2,347 yards, 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions with a 75.4 QB rating during that time.

In 10 career starts, Mettenberger completed 76-of-130 (58.5 percent) passes for 630 yards, two touchdowns and five interceptions, having been sacked 10 times while collecting a 60.1 QB rating.

In 2013, Mettenberger helped lead an LSU pass offense that finished with the SEC’s No. 1 yards per attempt average (10.0) and the No. 2 passer efficiency rating (164.7), all while ending the season with a 10-3 (5-3) record.
