According to Rivals.com, Vanderbilt sophomore offensive lineman Cole Hardin was injured in an automobile accident on Thursday. In the report, it is stated that Hardin was riding a moped when he struck another vehicle.

Hardin was said to be conscious on his way to the hospital. The latest report states Hardin sustained a serious injury to his right ankle,abrasions on his right arm and a gash on his shoulder.

The 2014 signee red-shirted his freshman year and then was a backup in 2015. Hardin competed for the starting center job throughout the 2016 spring practices.
