Will Georgia wear black uniforms this year? Recruit says yes
For the first time since 2008, Georgia may be bring back its alternate black jerseys on gameday.
The Bulldogs’ black alternate uniforms have all been but banned since the 41-30 loss to Alabama at Sanford Stadium in 2008. Fans have clamored for a return to the alternates for several years.
And they might just get their wish this season.
On Friday night, high school prospects gathered at Georgia for a three-day Kirby Smart Camp, and one prospect in particular, four-star LB Kenney Britt, said the Bulldogs will wear black uniforms in 2016.
