Washington learned it would be the No. 4 seed in this year’s College Football Playoff. The reward? Playing top-ranked and undefeated Alabama.

Huskies coach Chris Petersen jokingly said after the Playoff field was released that Washington fans might have wanted to be careful what they wished for. Petersen followed that up with an out-of-the-box idea for his team’s preparation.

Many have often wondered how the nation’s top college football team would fare against the worst NFL team. The Seattle Seahawks are far from the worst NFL team, so having them as a scrimmage partner should only help the Huskies.

Nick Saban and Alabama made headlines earlier this season when they recruited former running back and NFL player Trent Richardson to mimic LSU’s Leonard Fournette on the scout team during practice.

Petersen likely isn’t serious with this suggestion, although a call wouldn’t hurt. But, the Seahawks are in the midst of their own playoff push and might have to reschedule that practice date.
