When ESPN’s popular “My Wish” series returns to SportsCenter on Sunday, July 16, it’ll do so with former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott as the featured athlete, according to a release from the Mississippi State athletic department.

Prescott, now a star for the Dallas Cowboys, will meet with 9-year-old Raymond Melgarejo of California who is battling Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, a rare disease closely related to lymphoma and leukemia.

His wish was to meet Prescott, so the Cowboys flew him to their team headquarters in order to do so.

The feature is sure to be a great and emotional one, and will air during the 8 a.m. Eastern time and 11 p.m. Eastern time editions of SportsCenter on July 16.
