Kentucky’s offensive line depth took a hit on Tuesday, when it was reported that a junior lineman was leaving the program.
According to 247Sports, former JUCO commit Tate Leavitt is no longer a member of the Wildcats.
Apparently, Leavitt’s absence isn’t new, as he hasn’t been with the Wildcats for a couple of weeks now:
As other outlets are reporting, Kentucky spokesman confirms offensive lineman Tate Leavitt hasn't been with program for a couple of weeks.

Leavitt committed to the Wildcats as part of the 2016 recruiting class, coming over as a highly-rated JUCO prospect who also had offers from top programs like Alabama and Georgia, among others.
He was the No. 5 JUCO offensive lineman in the class of 2016 and the No. 7 overall JUCO recruit from Ohio.
He wasn’t getting any playing time at Kentucky, so it’s understandable why he would want to leave, but the Wildcats will certainly miss the depth he provided.
