Two days after Florida officials met in New Hampshire with Chip Kelly, the school is considering adding more names to its search, according to a report from Yahoo’s Pat Forde.

Florida officials “remain engaged” with Kelly, the report said, after they’ve been in contact with him throughout the month. But despite the meeting, there is no agreement reached.

To be clear, Kelly is the school’s top candidate for the job, and the coach has taken his time to engage in a deliberate evaluation of Florida. Still, with some teams’ regular season ending this week, and conference championships set for next week, schedules are opening up. Kelly, meanwhile, an ESPN analyst, is not tied to a current football team’s schedule like other candidates.

The Yahoo report added Florida officials appear to be ready to move on shortly after Thanksgiving if a deal has not been struck with Kelly. While there have been conflicting reports of interest in the UCLA job and the school with Kelly, it’s believed to be an option he is considering, Forde said.

After Kelly, UCF’s Scott Frost would be the likely next target, the report said, with Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen, who is also considered a candidate at Tennessee, the next in line.
