LOOK: South Carolina reveals ‘battle armor’ ahead of Clemson

With a match lit and sparks flying, South Carolina’s official Twitter account revealed its uniform combination ahead of Saturday’s game against Clemson.
The Gamecocks will wear the all-garnet look with black helmets for the Palmetto State rivalry in Williams-Brice Stadium. For the sixth time in eight years, Clemson and South Carolina will meet under the lights, and it should be a lively atmosphere for the series that Clemson has won three straight years.
This is the longest uninterrupted series in the South as the Gamecocks and Tigers get together for the 109th consecutive year. They’ve met since 1896 and every year since 1909.
