The Florida Gators found their new head coach in Dan Mullen over the weekend but lost a recruit on Thursday.

It was announced on Sunday that Mullen was returning to Gainesville to coach the Gators after previously serving as the OC at Florida from 2005-08. It was then announced Thursday morning that DC Todd Grantham was joining Mullen’s staff at Florida after serving in the same role at Mississippi State in 2017.

Mullen’s Florida staff is starting to take shape and should get fans excited for the future, but one recruit has decided to decommit from the Gators as a result of the recent changes.

CB Divaad Wilson announced on Twitter that he is decommitting and will reopen his recruitment. According to the composite rankings at 247 Sports, Wilson is a four-star CB out of Miami, Florida who selected the Gators over Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina among others.
