LOOK: Auburn making interesting change to helmets ahead of Peach Bowl

Bowl season has already featured some great jersey patches and some interesting uniform combinations, and when Auburn takes the field on New Year’s Day for the Peach Bowl, it too will get in on the uniform fun.

That’s because the Tigers will be making a minor, but interesting, change to their helmets for the big-time bowl game.

As you can see in the photo below, the Auburn helmets will feature “War Eagle” in raised rubber on the back:

No, the new look won’t help the Tigers slow down an explosive UCF offense, but it will look cool on the ESPN broadcast.

A win against the Knights would give Auburn an 11-3 final record and send the Tigers into the offseason with some momentum as Gus Malzahn gets to work to earn his massive new contract extension.
