On Saturday, Auburn starting F Anfernee McLemore suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the Tigers’ loss to South Carolina.
The injury was so brutal players and coaches from both teams gathered around him before he was taken off the court on a stretcher.
News broke later that McLemore would be out 4-6 months with a dislocated ankle and broken leg. After hearing that news, South Carolina coach Frank Martin sent McLemore a message on Twitter, as you can see below:
@akmclemore Anfernee just want u to know that I’m still thinking of u. I’ve said plenty of ??s 4 u. Keep your faith God has your back

McLemore will likely have surgery in the coming days, and will probably be ready for next season.
He’ll certainly appreciate Martin reaching out, as he’ll need a lot of support to get through his long rehab process.
