The New Orleans Saints found success last year by utilizing a star running-back tandem of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.

However, to start the 2018 season, the Saints will be without Ingram, a former Alabama star, for four games, as the NFL announced his suspension on Tuesday.

According to the reports, Ingram is suspended for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs:

Ingram ran for a career-high 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns and also added 416 receiving yards in 2017.

Now, Kamara will have to carry a bigger load while the Saints wait for Ingram to regain eligibility this fall. Fortunately, Kamara was the Offensive Rookie of the Year last year, so he could be ready to step into a bigger role.
