Coming off his best NFL season to date, Dante Fowler has just been hit with a suspension by the NFL.

The NFL announced on Friday that the former Gator standout defender has been tagged with a one-game suspension for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy. This decision comes after Fowler pleaded no contest to criminal mischief and petty theft charges stemming from an offseason arrest.

Fowler was the third-overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft and missed his entire rookie season due to injury. The Jaguars declined to pick up his fifth-year option this offseason, likely meaning he will hit the free agency market following next season.
