WATCH: Joe Burrow goes tumbling over fence on unnecessary play at Jordan-Hare Stadium

Joe Burrow has shown that he is able to run as well as throw during his brief tenure with the LSU Tigers, but apparently his brakes need some work.
After running out of bounds in the third quarter of Saturday’s game at Auburn, the LSU quarterback kept going, eventually flipping over a steel fence on the sideline.
As you can see in the video below, the fact that he was all the way out by the fence seemed unnecessary, at best:

Fortunately, Burrow was OK after that strange play, but he’ll likely hear it from his teammates during film study.
Next time, he’ll have to make sure he makes a better effort to stop in a reasonable distance. Otherwise, he could end up heels over head once again.
