When it comes to honors a person can achieve in life, getting a sandwich named after you is pretty high on that list.
That’s what happened with Mizzou K Tucker McCann recently, as a BBQ place in his hometown of O’Fallon, Illinois, named a turkey sandwich after him.
As you can see below, the “Turkey McCann” features turkey, peppers, onions and cheddar cheese sauce:

After hitting a game-winning kick against Purdue on Saturday, McCann definitely deserves this prestigious honor.
Good for Sugarfire Smoke House for honoring a local star. Now, we’ll have to wait for McCann to have a chance to go eat the sandwich he inspired. We bet it’s delicious.
