Texas A&M got its biggest SEC win to date on Saturday night as the Aggies welcomed an undefeated Kentucky team to College Station and sent the Wildcats home with a loss in a 20-14 overtime thriller.

The performance was far from flawless from the Aggies, Kellen Mond continues to play inconsistently, he completed 18 of 29 throws for 226 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, but Trayveon Williams continues to put the Aggie offense on his back. The junior running back racked up 138 yards on 24 carries and the game-winning score in overtime.

Mike Elko’s defense was outstanding, giving up only seven points and never letting the Wildcats into A&M territory during regulation. The Aggies also turned it over twice, with the biggest mistake turning into a scoop and score by Kentucky’s defense.

Immediately following the big win for his program, Jimbo Fisher met with the media to discuss beating his former defensive coordinator, Mark Stoops, and his vastly improved Kentucky program.
