Texas A&M lost to Mississippi State this past weekend to fall to 5-3, and the Aggies have another tough matchup when they travel to take on Auburn on Saturday.

While Auburn likely feels it needs a win after its challenging start to the season, Texas A&M players feel the same way, although its year hasn’t been quite as rough.

“We’re desperate, too,” Aggies defensive tackle Justin Madubuike told the media on Monday. “We just took a loss, and nobody on the team is happy about that. We’re all taking it personal. We’re going to key in to the little things, we’re all going to practice hard and prepare for the game.”

Before losing to Mississippi State, Texas A&M’s two previous losses were to the top two ranked teams in the country — No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson.

The Aggies have three SEC matchups remaining. And that includes a tough game against LSU on Nov. 24.

On Saturday, Texas A&M and Auburn are set to kick off at 12 p.m. ET.
