Welcome back DJ Durkin? Several players reportedly walked out during team meeting

On Tuesday, Maryland reinstated coach DJ Durkin after he had been on administrative leave during an investigation into the “toxic culture” on the Terrapins football team.
However, it doesn’t appear that Durkin’s return was met positively by all Maryland players, especially during a team meeting.
According to reports, between three and five players got up and left during the team meeting, seemingly upset that Durkin was back:
Maryland lists over 100 players on their FB roster. Seeing reports that less than 5 players got upset and left team meeting today…interesting.

This whole situation has been a mess from the start, and it seemed that the Board of Regents really wanted Durkin back, though university president Wallace Loh did not.
For now, it appears Durkin is back in charge, though we’ll have to see how the players respond on the field this weekend.
